DESCRIPTION:Aim: CARB-X welcomes applications from around the world for fu
 nding and support for the early development of antibiotics\, diagnostics\,
  vaccines and other products to combat the most serious drug-resistant bac
 teria. The goal is to support them through the early stages of product dev
 elopment and Phase 1 so they can attract private or public investment for 
 further clinical stage development.\n \nRound 2 for this program focuses 
 on Vaccines and Biotherapeutics. In particular:\n\n	Vaccines\n	Therapeutic
  and preventative antibodies and fragments\n	Other large molecule biothera
 peutics (not direct- or indirect-acting peptides)\n\n \nFor vaccines and 
 other therapeutics\, CARB-X funds projects from Hit-to-Lead into Phase 1.\
 n \nFunding: Project dependent.\n \nDuration: Project dependent.\n \nEl
 igibility: CARB-X welcomes applications from around the world. Applicants 
 must have a legal entity. Product developers (PDs) must have appropriate o
 perations or capabilities in place to support product development\, partic
 ularly through the development stages in scope for CARB-X.\n \nHow to App
 ly: There is a three-step application process. First\, an Expression of In
 terest (EOI) must be submitted summarizing the product proposed as a candi
 date for support. EOIs are submitted on the application portal. Selected a
 pplicants then move to the second step\, in which selected companies submi
 t a confidential Short Form. Finally\, in a third step selected applicants
  submit a Long Form and detailed budget.  \n \nEOI Deadline: 15 June 201
