DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing Psychological Healt
 h and Traumatic Brain Injury Research Program (PHTBIRP) for 2019. Under th
 is framework\, the Federal Interagency Traumatic Brain Injury Research (FI
 TBIR) is an informatics system created through a collaborative effort betw
 een the USAMRMC and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and S
 troke (NINDS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). FITBIR serves as
  the premier platform to share human subject data across the TBI field. Th
 e goal of FITBIR is to accelerate research progress by allowing for re-ana
 lysis\, aggregation\, and rigorous comparison of deidentified data to faci
 litate new insights in the understanding\, diagnosis\, and treatment of TB
 I. The intent of the FY19 FITBIR Analysis Award is to leverage this data t
 o identify actionable insights for the diagnosis\, management\, and treatm
 ent of TBI. The proposed research must be relevant to active duty Service 
 members\, Veterans\, military beneficiaries\, and/or the American public.\
 n \nFunding: Maximum USD $ 750’000\n \nDuration: 18 months\n \nEligib
 ility: Applicants from international organizations or institutions are eli
 gible to apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. Independent in
 vestigators at all academic levels (or equivalent) are eligible to be name
 d by the organization as the PI on the application.\n \nHow to Apply: Pre

 er of Intent\, and supporting documents as suggested on the platform. Full
