  have been developed for a long time\, due to their potential of high effi
 ciency. Among them\, SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) will be a main system fo
 r the future\, because of its high efficiency.  The market size is still 
 small. However\, it is expected to become rapidly large from the standpoin
 t of improvement progress of efficiency\, stability\, life time\, design a
 nd cost.  Now a decentralized power generation is important and for that\
 , fuel cell systems are useful.  In Japan\, a large scale power generatio
 n of SOFC combined cycle has become important after the accident of the Fu
 kushima nuclear power station.  In this presentation SOFC system perspect
 ives in Japan will be presented.
