DESCRIPTION:Founded in Lausanne in 1980 by Rosy and Antoine Leenaards\, fo
 rmer President of the Crown Cork Company\, Fondation Leenaards supports pe
 ople and institutions that are able to deploy creativity and innovation in
  the fields of culture\, aging and biomedical science in the Lake Geneva r
 egion. Projects are selected on the basis of quality as well as their ambi
 tion to accommodate the rapid changes in today’s society.\n \nQuality o
 f Life 65+ (Qualité de vie 65+) is an annual thematic call of Fondation L
 eenaards. It supports research reflecting on how elderly people perceive t
 he quality of their life\, their place in society and on how they act on t
 heir well-being. Seniors’ point of view must be a central component of t
 he proposed project.\n \nWho can apply: \n\n	Researchers in the social sc
 iences and humanities and interdisciplinary research teams.\n	Applicants m
 ust be employed at a higher education institution in French-speaking Switz
 erland.\n	Collaborations between researchers and field partners (e.g. asso
 ciations) is strongly encouraged.\n\n \nFunding and duration:\n\n\n	Max. 
 CHF 450’000 for up to 36 months for research projects.\n	Max. CHF 50’0
 00 for up to 12 months for exploratory studies.\n	Eligible costs: Personne
 l costs\, equipment\, consumables\, travel\, remuneration for participants
  in clinical trials/studies\, ethics authorisations fees and other direct 
 costs. Does not cover overheads.\n\n \nDeadline: 1 February 2020 (forecas
