DESCRIPTION:The Ministry of Education of India has launched the annual DUO
 -India Fellowship Programme to promote exchanges of students (incl. postdo
 cs) and professors between India and European ASEM members on a balanced a
 nd permanent basis. DUO-India will support the exchanges of 100 pairs of s
 tudents\, and 50 pairs of professors\; this is the LARGEST DUO Programme s
 ince its inception in 2001.\n \nWho can apply: \n\n	DUO-India requires th
 at a pair (two persons) of students or a pair of professors to be exchange
 d: one from an Indian and one from a European institution. EPFL is eligibl
 e. Follow this link for the list of other eligible institutions.\n	Eligibl
 e students: undergraduate\, master\, doctoral and post-doctorate students 
 who are enrolled in an eligible institution at the time of application and
  until the start of the exchange. Master and doctoral students are preferr
 ed. Students who are already involved in exchange programmes in the fall o
 f 2019 are not eligible.\n	Eligible professors: professors excluding profe
 ssors emeritus\, honorary professors and teaching assistants.\n\n \nDurat
 ion: \n\n\n	Exchange of students: spring semester (between Jan/Feb and May
 /June\, 2020) or fall semester (between Aug/Sep and Nov/Dec\, 2020).\n	Exc
 hange of professors: between January and December 2020 for 3-4 weeks.\n\n
  \nFunding for students: \n\n\n	Europe to India: travel to and from India
 n institute (EUR 1’000) + living expenses @250 EURO per month for 4 mont
 hs (EUR 1’000).\n	India to Europe: travel to and from European institute
  (EUR 1’000) + living expenses @1’500 EURO per month for 4 months (EUR
  6’000).\n\n \nFunding for professors: \n\n\n	Europe to India: travel t
 o and from Indian institute (EUR 1’000) + living expenses @2’000 EURO 
 per month for 1 month (EUR 2’000).\n	India to Europe: travel to and from
  European institute (EUR 1’000) + living expenses @2’000 EURO per mont
 h for 1 month (EUR 2’000).\n\n \nDeadline: 31 August 2019  \nThe insti
 tution in India applies on behalf of both the India and the European insti
