DESCRIPTION:ON\, the orthoregeneration network is an independent internati
 onal foundation in the field of orthopedic tissue regeneration driving the
  development and understanding of new treatment strategies for the well-be
 ing of the patient. It was established in Luzern in 2017 by the Geistlich 
 family and Geistlich Pharma.\n \nThe ON Pilot Grant: Innovative technique
 s for meniscus healing or regeneration is awarded to projects researching 
 innovative techniques and approaches for the improvement of meniscus heali
 ng or regeneration. ON Pilot Grants target small but innovative research p
 rojects that answer open questions or prove a new concept. Clinical\, prec
 linical or in vitro studies are eligible.\n \nA grant application submitt
 ed to the ON Foundation may be submitted in parallel to another funding or
 ganization or research grant provider (e.g. company). If so\, the submissi
 on has to be declared in the application.\n \nWho can apply: researchers 
 based at an academic institution.\n \nFunding & Duration: CHF 25’000 fo
 r 24 months.\nEligible costs: personnel costs\, research costs\, consumabl
 es\, equipment\, travel expenses\, clinical and pre-clinical studies\, 20%
