DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The Indian Council for Social Sciences Research ICSSR a
 nd the ZHAW Leading House South Asia and Iran (with support from the Swiss
  Embassy in\nNew Delhi) are organizing a two-day workshop in social scienc
 es research\, along with an additional informal networking day.\n \nThe f
 ocus areas for the workshop will be:\n\n	Skills and employability\n	Women:
  Status and empowerment\n	Trade and investment issues\n\nThe aim will be t
 o exchange scientific insights that are relevant to India from a Swiss per
 spective\, to Switzerland from an Indian perspective\, or a combined persp
 ective.\n\nDates:             24 – 26 November 2019\n \nLoca
 tion:       New Delhi (exact venue tbd)\n \nFunding:  Workshop par
 ticipation is free. Up to CHF 1’200 will be contributed to the costs of 
 travel to/from India for up to 12 Swiss researchers (first come\, first se
 rved). Accommodation will be provided by ICSSR\, and the Swiss Embassy wil
 l provide ground transport between your hotel and the workshop venue. You 
 are expected to bear any other costs.\n \nEligibility: Participants must 
 be Swiss researchers with permanent employment at any university\, univers
 ity of applied sciences\, university of teacher’s education or any offic
 ially recognized research institute in Switzerland in accordance with the
