 \nMARVEL and CECAM are hosting the second lecture in the series "Classics 
 in molecular and materials modeling" at EPFL:\n\nCar-Parrinello Molecular
  Dynamics\nby Roberto Car and Michele Parrinello\nfollowed by an interview
  with the speakers conducted by Giulia Galli (University of Chicago)\n \n
 to be held at Auditorium BCH 2201\, EPFL\, on July 25 from 9:30 to 12:00.
  This lecture is the second in the series “Classics in molecular and mat
 erials modelling” hosted by CECAM (www.cecam.org/) and MARVEL (http://nc
 cr-marvel.ch/) at EPFL. In this series\, methods that have become fundame
 ntal tools in computational physics and chemistry will be presented by the
 ir originators at a level appropriate for second-year-master and graduate 
 students. The lectures will be followed by an interview with the presenter
 s: we’ll ask them to recall for us the period\, problems\, people and ci
 rcumstances that accompanied the creation of milestone methods and algorit
 hms that we now routinely use. The event will be recorded and followed by 
 an apéro.\n
