DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Chronic Pain Ma
 nagement Research Program (CPMRP) for 2019. The Translational Research Awa
 rd supports translational research that will accelerate the movement of ev
 idence-based ideas in chronic pain management research into clinical appli
 cations\, including healthcare products\, technologies\, and/or clinical p
 ractice guidelines. TRA applications should explain how the proposed work 
 will inform the development\, refinement\, and/or revision of existing sta
 ndards of care\, recommendations\, or guidelines for managing chronic pain
 .\n \nTo meet the intent of the award mechanism\, applications to the FY1
 9 CPMRP Translational Research Award must address research in program’s 
 Focus Areas\, which are listed at the end of this announcement.\n \nFundi
 ng:        Maximum USD $ 1’400’000\n \nDuration:      4 yea
 rs\n \nEligibility: Applicants from international organizations or instit
 utions are eligible to apply\, and there are no citizenship restrictions. 
 Investigators at or above the level of Assistant Professor (or equivalent)
  may be named by the organization as the PI on the application.\n \nHow t
 o Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They s
 hould contain contact information\, a list of collaborators and key person
 nel\, preproposal narrative\, and supporting documents as suggested on the
  platform. Full applications (by invitation) will be made via a Grants.gov
