DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) funds research to be
 tter define\, measure\, and treat Parkinson’s disease and supports the d
 evelopment of critical tools and other resources to advance that research.
 \n \nThe Therapeutic Pipeline Program seeks to speed the development of P
 arkinson’s disease therapeutics with potential for fundamentally alterin
 g disease course and/or significantly improving treatment or management of
  symptoms beyond current standards of care. Proposals should focus on stra
 tegies with clear impact for people with Parkinson’s and well-defined de
 velopment plans. Programs developing novel approaches as well as approved 
 or clinically safe repurposed or repositioned therapies from other disease
  indications are appropriate. MJFF will prioritize approaches built on str
 ong scientific and biological rationale for targeting fundamental processe
 s underlying Parkinson’s cause\, progression and/or symptom expression.\
