DESCRIPTION:\nContext\nThe Bois Chamblard Foundation’s main purpose is t
 o encourage: basic and applied research activities that are related to sup
 porting the quality and biodiversity of the natural environment and its pr
 eservation\, as well the role of humanity as it affects that environment.\
 n\nWith this call\, the Foundation aims to encourage educational or resear
 ch projects that support this purpose.\nTo support these activities\, the 
 Foundation puts at the disposition of researchers and educators the Bois C
 hamblard site with a surface of some 60\,000 m2 (see here\, Google maps an
 d here) located on the shores of Lake Geneva and covered mostly by forest.
 \n\nEligibility\nApplications are invited from individuals or teams. The l
 ead applicant must be based at EPFL\, University of Lausanne (UNIL) or Uni
 versity of Geneva (UNIGE)\, and remain employed at one of these institutio
 ns for the duration of the project. Co-applicants can be located at academ
 ic or non-research institutions.\n\nBudget\nGrants can be up to 3 years du
 ration\, with maximum budgets as follows:\n\n	Projects up to one year’s 
 duration: CHF 75\,000\n	Projects from one up to three year’s duration: C
