DESCRIPTION:The aim of the Fyssen Foundation is to “encourage all forms 
 of scientific inquiry into cognitive mechanisms\, including thought and re
 asoning\, which underlie animal and human behavior\; their biological and 
 cultural bases\, and phylogenetic and ontogenetic development”. The Foun
 dation supports research in Ethology\, Psychology\, Neurobiology\, Social 
 Anthropology\, Ethnology\, Human Paleontology and Archaeology.\n \nFundin
 g: The research grant could range from 15 000 to 35 000 euros. It intends 
 to cover equipment purchase\, budgets dedicated to missions\, participatio
 ns in colloquiums\, publications expenses\, for the expenses relative to t
 he intervention of specialized persons.\n \nDuration: 12 months\, non-ren
 ewable. At the end\, the researchers will have to provide a detailed scien
 tific report in French or in English.\n \nYou are eligible if:\n\n	You ar
 e either French or foreign post-doctoral researchers\, maximum age 35 year
 s for the biological sciences and 40 years in the human sciences\, on clos
 ing date.\n	Rather already position’s holder\, you will independently wo
 rk establishing a research team to achieve a collective scientific project
  in a laboratory in France.\n	You can also develop your project in a diffe
 rent laboratory from the one they obtained their doctorate (PhD) or the on
 e where you are working at present.\n\n \nThe application’s folder shou

 ation letter\n	Recommendation letters from two senior scientists not belon

  French or in English\n	Description of the budget forecasts\n	List of the 
 people who will join the research team for the project\n	List of other fin
 ancial supports\n	Abstract (150 words) of the research project\, as well a
