DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The AACR Anna D. Barker Basic Cancer Research Fellowshi
 p encourages and supports postdoctoral or clinical research fellows to est
 ablish a successful career path in cancer research. The research proposed 
 for funding may be in any area of basic cancer research.\n \nSupport is p
 rovided for the salary and benefits of the fellow while working on a mento
 red basic cancer research project. A partial amount of funds may be design
 ated for non-personnel expenses\, such as research/laboratory supplies\, e
 quipment\, publication charges for manuscripts that pertain directly to th
 e funded project\, and other research expenses.\n \nFunding: USD $110’0
 00\n \nDuration: 2 years\n \nEligibility: Applicants must have a doctora
 l degree (including PhD\, MD\, MD/PhD\, or equivalent) in a related field.
  In addition\, at the start of the grant term on July 1\, 2020\, applicant
 s must: hold a mentored research position with the title of postdoctoral f
 ellow\, clinical research fellow\, or the equivalent\, have completed thei
 r most recent doctoral degree within the past three years\, and work under
  the auspices of a mentor at an academic\, medical\, or research instituti
 on anywhere in the world.\n \nApplicants should be AACR members. Annual d
 ues are not required for early-career researchers interested in Associate 
 membership. Nonmembers interested in this grant opportunity must submit a 
 satisfactory application for AACR membership\, and be members in good stan
 ding\, by the Letter of Intent deadline. Nonmembers can apply for membersh
 ip using the Official Application for Membership submitted to the AACR wit
 h the required documents or apply online.\n \nHow to Apply: AACR requires
  applicants to complete an online Letter of Intent submission using the pr

 ic Aims\; Rationale\, Preliminary Data\, Methodology\, and Approach\; and
