DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The AACR-Bristol-Myers Squibb Midcareer Female Investig
 ator Grant represents a joint effort to encourage and support mid-career f
 emale physician-scientists and researchers to conduct immuno-oncology rese
 arch and to foster their career advancement toward becoming a senior inves
 tigator. Research projects may be translational and/or clinical in nature 
 with a focus on immuno-oncology.\n \nSupport is provided for expenses rel
 ated to the research project\, which may include salary and benefits of th
 e grant recipient and any collaborators\, postdoctoral or clinical researc
 h fellows\, graduate students\, and/or research assistants\; research/labo
 ratory supplies\; equipment\; publication charges for manuscripts that per
 tain directly to the funded project\; and other research expenses (indirec
 t costs not permitted).\n \nFunding: USD $225’000\n \nDuration: 3 year
 s\n \nEligibility: Applicants must have a doctoral degree (including PhD\
 , MD\, MD/PhD\, or equivalent) in a related field. Applicants must also ha
 ve received their first NIH R01 (or equivalent) award within the past 10 y
 ears\; contact the Research Office for any questions on equivalence. Appli

  with an academic\, medical\, or research institution anywhere in the worl
 d.\n \nApplicants should be AACR members. Annual dues are not required fo
 r early-career researchers interested in Associate membership. Nonmembers 
 interested in this grant opportunity must submit a satisfactory applicatio
 n for AACR membership\, and be members in good standing\, by the Letter of
  Intent deadline. Nonmembers can apply for membership using the Official A
