 is talk\n\nAbstract:\nIn this talk I introduce a framework for modeling te
 mporal communication networks and dynamical processes unfolding on such ne
 tworks. The framework originates from the (new) observation that there is 
 a meaningful division of temporal communication networks into six dynamic 
 classes\, where the class of a network is determined by its generating pro
 cess. In particular\, each class is characterized by a fundamental structu
 re: a temporal-topological network motif\, which corresponds to the networ
 k structure of communication events in that class of network. The fundamen
 tal structures constrain network configurations: only certain configuratio
 ns are possible within a dynamic class. In this way the framework presente
 d here highlights strong constraints on network structures\, which simplif
 y analyses and shape network flows. Therefore the fundamental structures h
 old the potential to impact how we model temporal networks. The ideas beh
 ind the framework draw on extensive empirical data collection\, specifical
 ly the Copenhagen Networks\, which I will also discuss in the talk.\n\nBio
 :\nSune Lehmann is a Professor at the Technical University of Denmark\, An
  Adjunct Professor at the Department of Sociology\, University of Copenhag
 en\, and the Associate Director of the Center for Social Data Science (SOD
 AS) at the University of Copenhagen. His work focuses on understanding hum
 an behavior based on the traces we leave behind when we interact with tech
