DESCRIPTION:SOLAR-ERA.NET is a European network of national / regional fun
 ding organisations and RTD (research and technology development) and innov
 ation programmes in the field of solar electricity generation\, i.e. photo
 voltaics (PV) and concentrating solar power (CSP) / solar thermal electric
 ity (STE). SOLAR-ERA.NET is supported by the European Commission within th
 e EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020 (Cofund 
 ERA-NET Action). The SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund 2 Additional Joint Call topics a
 re based on priorities identified in the Strategic Energy Technology (SET)
  Plan resp. in the subsequent Implementation Plans for PV and CSP.\n \nTh
 e project consortium has to involve at least 2 partners from 2 different c
 ountries participating in  the SOLAR-ERA.NET Cofund  2  Additional  Jo
 int  Call and  providing  funding  to  the  project selected. At lea
 st one partner in the consortium has to be from industry in order to incre
 ase the level of transnationality and covering a wider geographic spectrum
 . A minimum of 3 partners from 3 different countries is recommended.\n \n
 Every project participant is funded by the funding organisation of their o
 wn country/region according to their specific rules\, for Swiss-based appl
 icants the Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE. Not all programmes / fundi
 ng agencies will accept applications in all topics. For a list of the SFOE
  eligible topics and area / sub-topics within this call\, please see Table
  2 and p32 of the Guidelines.\n \nA direct contact with SFOE contact poin
 t (Table 1 of the Guidelines) is mandatory before any electronic submissio
 n (at least 2 weeks before submission) to check the project idea and natio
 nal / regional specific requirements.\n \nIf you would like to share any 
 project idea or search for complimentary expertise and partners\, send the
  following template filled in to info@solar-era.net and your information w
 ill be published on SOLAR-ERA.NET website from 15 November 2019 on.\n \n
  \nDuration: max. 36 months\n\nBudget for Swiss applicants: 200’000 Eur
 os\n \nSFOE eligible applicants: private and public sector entities\, nam
 ely higher  education  institution\,  public  research  organisation\
 , public  organisation\, private – SME  (Industry)\, private – large
   companies  (Industry)\, private – Non-profit  research organisation
 \n \nSFOE eligible costs: limited to 40% of the eligible project costs\, 
 which are the additional project costs that cannot be amortized over the e
 xpected lifetime of the developed installation or solution\, i.e additiona
 l costs compared to the costs of implementing an equivalent\, conventional
  technology or solution (see also p32 of the Guidelines)\n \nSubmission\n
