DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation-AACR Grant
  represents a joint effort to promote and support innovative cancer resear
 ch. This grant is available to independent junior and senior investigators
  to develop and study new ideas and innovative approaches that have direct
  application and relevance to neuroendocrine tumors. Proposed research may
  be in any discipline of basic\, translational\, or clinical cancer resear
 ch.\n \nApplications are invited from researchers currently in the field 
 as well as investigators with experience in other areas of cancer or biome
 dical research who have promising ideas and approaches that can be applied
  to neuroendocrine tumor research.\n \nFunding:         USD $255
 ’000\n \nDuration:        2 years\n \nEligibility: Applicants mu
 st have a doctoral degree (including PhD\, MD\, MD/PhD\, or equivalent) in
  a related field. Applications will be accepted from independent investiga
 tors who are affiliated with an academic\, medical\, or research instituti
 on anywhere in the world.\n \nApplicants should be AACR members. Annual d
 ues are not required for early-career researchers interested in Associate 
 membership. Nonmembers interested in this grant opportunity must submit a 
 satisfactory application for AACR membership\, and be members in good stan
 ding\, by the Letter of Intent deadline. Nonmembers can apply for membersh
 ip using the Official Application for Membership submitted to the AACR wit
 h the required documents or apply online.\n \nGrant recipient must attend
  the Grants Reception and Dinner at the AACR Annual meeting 2020 (28-04-20
 ) to formally accept the grant. Grant funds may be used to support the gra
 ntee’s registration and attendance at this Annual Meeting. The Grantee i
 s also required to present at the Annual NETRF Research Symposium\, held i
 n the spring\, in Boston each year for the duration of the grant term and 
 the year following completion of the project.\n \nHow to Apply: AACR requ
 ires applicants to complete an online application using the proposalCENTRA

 count. If EPFL will serve as your host institution\, please use the follow
 ing institution name in proposalCENTRAL: Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de

  “Grant Opportunities” tab\, then select “Filter List by GrantMaker
 ” at the top and click “American Association for Cancer Research” in
  the drop down menu. Find the “Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation-
 AACR Grant” and click the blue “Apply Now” button in the “Apply”
