DESCRIPTION:RUS Plus is an ERA-NET initiative aimed to create a long-term 
 research collaboration in the field of research and innovation between EU 
 Member States/Associated Countries and Russia. RUS Plus is co-financed unt
 il 2019 by the European Commission (FP7 and Horizon 2020) and 12 countries
 \, including Switzerland (via the SNSF).\n \nThe 2019 and last call for E
 RA-NET RUS Plus focuses on the following topics:\n\n	Nanotechnologies\n	He
 alth\n	Social Sciences and Humanities\n	Robotics\n\nSwiss-based applicants
  can participate in consortia focusing on any of these topics.\n \nWho ca
 n apply: \n\n\n	Consortium: at least 3 applicants from 3 different partici
 pating countries (please check the national eligibility criteria)\, of whi
 ch at least 1 from Russia. Only an applicant from participating countries 
 can act as “Coordinator” of the consortium. Applicants from research a
 nd higher education entities\, SMEs or other must be eligible for funding 
 by their national funding organisations.\n	Swiss-based applicants: natural
  persons employed at a Swiss university\, a Swiss university of applied sc
 iences or an institution of the ETH Domain. They must be eligible for SNSF
  Project Funding (EPFL Instructions for SNSF Project Funding). Project par
 tners from commercially oriented institutions may be accepted under certai
 n circumstances\, provided they do not derive any pecuniary benefits based
  on their contribution or participation\, and\, in any case\, they are not
  eligible for SNSF funding.\n	Partners from EU MS/AC countries that are NO
 T listed may participate in the consortia\, but must cover their entire bu
 dget.\n\n \nFunding: \n\n\n	Maximum funding for Swiss-based applicants: E
 UR 185’000 (CHF 200’000) per consortium.\n	Eligible costs for Swiss-ba
 sed applicants: personnel costs (excl. PI’s salary) following SNSF salar
 y scale and project-related costs (material of enduring value\, expendable
  items\, field expenses\, travel costs\, third-party charges\, cost of com
 puting time and data as well as providing open access to research data)\, 
 infrastructure use costs\, conferences and workshops\, cooperation and net
 working activities. The SNSF does NOT cover research costs for SMEs and in
