DESCRIPTION:Aim: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation\, CIIE.CO\, and NPCI 
 are soliciting proposals for a new program on empowering feature phone use
 rs with digital payment solutions. The program aims at identifying promisi
 ng payment solutions for feature phone (non-smartphone) users\, ensuring s
 implified user onboarding\, enhanced transaction experience\, highest secu
 rity standards\, and automated dispute resolution. Effective solutions sho
 uld include:\n \n\n	Real-time issue resolution mechanisms\n	Improved paym
 ent interfaces and workflows\n	Integrated bill payment features\n	Enhanced
  P2P and merchant payment solutions\n	Enhanced security with end-to-end en
 cryption\n\n\nThe rewards include monetary and non-monetary support to the
  top innovations emerging from this Grand Challenge:\n\n	Opportunity to pi
 lot the solution with NPCI\n	First Prize: USD 50\,000\n	Second Prize: USD 
 30\,000\n	Third Prize: USD 20\,000\n	Acceleration support from CIIE.CO’s
  Bharat Inclusion Initiative\n\n\nEligibility: This is a global challenge 
 open for individuals and enterprises offering technology solutions in paym
 ents. It is especially suited for enterprises (including startups) with re
 ady solutions that can be piloted with limited additional development and 
 integration efforts. However\, all relevant and impactful solutions will b
 e considered irrespective of the stage.\n\nHow to Apply: Applications will
  be received only through the online process\; applications are available 
 on CIIE.CO’s online submission platform. CIIE.CO & NPCI will shortlist t
 he most promising solutions for further support. Wherever needed\, these s
 olutions will be provided with access to NPCI sandbox and technical suppor
 t so that demo-able products can be created. The winners will be selected 
 from the shortlist based on the product pitch and demos towards the end of
