DESCRIPTION:BRIDGE is a joint programme conducted by the Swiss National Sc
 ience Foundation (SNSF) and Innosuisse. It offers new funding opportunitie
 s at the intersection of basic research and science-based innovation\, the
 reby supplementing the funding activities of the two organizations.\n\nBRI
 DGE Discovery is aimed at experienced researchers who wish to realise a te
 chnological innovation with great social or economic impact. They can subm
 it a proposal on their own or as part of a consortium of up to three resea
 rchers. The project must be characterised by scientific excellence and a c
 lear vision of a future application.\n\nBRIDGE Discovery funds projects fo
 r up to 4 years. Grants cover the salaries of project employees and resear
 ch costs directly linked to the project.\n\nAs of now\, interested researc
 hers can submit a letter of intent\, which is mandatory for the submission
  of a full Discovery application\, via the mySNF platform.\nAll letters of
  intent must be submitted by 24 February 2020.\n\nThe deadline for the sub
 mission of full proposals is 11 May 2020 (extended from 27 April 2020).\n\
