DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The AACR Lung Cancer Research Fellowships represent a j
 oint effort to encourage and support postdoctoral or clinical research fel
 lows to conduct lung cancer research and to establish a successful career 
 path in this field. The research proposed for funding may be basic\, trans
 lational\, clinical\, or epidemiological in nature and must have direct ap
 plicability and relevance to the impact of driver mutations on lung cancer
  development and progression.\n\nFunding:         USD $120’000\n\
 nDuration:        2 years\n\nEligibility: Applicants must have a doc
 toral degree (including PhD\, MD\, MD/PhD\, or equivalent) in a related fi
 eld and not currently be a candidate for a further doctoral degree.\n\nAt 
 the start of the grant term on July 1\, 2020\, applicants must: 1) hold a 
 mentored research position with the title of postdoctoral fellow\, clinica
 l research fellow\, or the equivalent\, 2) have completed their most recen
 t doctoral degree within the past five years\, and 3) work under the auspi
 ces of a mentor at an academic\, medical\, or research institution anywher
 e in the world.\n\nApplicants should be AACR members. Annual dues are not 
 required for early-career researchers interested in Associate membership. 
 Nonmembers interested in this grant opportunity must submit a satisfactory
  application for AACR membership\, and be members in good standing\, by th
 e application deadline. Nonmembers can apply for membership using the Offi
 cial Application for Membership submitted to the AACR with the required do
 cuments or apply online.\n\nGrant recipient must attend the Grants Recepti
 on and Dinner at the AACR Annual Meeting 2020 (28-04-20) to formally accep
 t the grant. Grant funds may be used to support the grantee’s registrati
 on and attendance at this Annual Meeting.\n\nHow to Apply: AACR requires a
 pplicants to complete an online application using the proposalCENTRAL webs
