DESCRIPTION:The mission of Eurostars is the support of R&D-performing entr
 epreneurs\, by initiating pan-european projects and co-funding their resea
 rch activities\, enabling them to compete internationally and become leade
 rs in their sector.\nUnder the Eurostars 2 programme\, small and medium-si
 zed enterprises (SMEs) can further develop their products or services toge
 ther with partner firms or research teams at the international level. The 
 purpose of Eurostars 2 is to underpin the competitiveness of innovative co
 mpanies in new or existing value-creation chains. The initiative is mainly
  aimed at SMEs that invest a substantial part of their revenues in R&D.\n
  \nDeadlines:\n\n	13th February 2020 (20h00 Brussels time)\n	3rd Septembe
 r 2020 (20h00 Brussels time)\n\n\nDuration: the duration of the project ma
 y not exceed 36 months.\n \nWho can apply: To be eligible\, the partnersh
 ip must include at least two legal entities independent of each other. The
  partnership must include participation from at least two different Eurost
 ars countries (i.e. a Eurostars Participating state or a Eurostars Partner
  country)\, where at least one of the countries must be an EUREKA member c
 ountry. The participant budget (minus subcontracting costs) of the sole R&
 D-performing SME involved in the application must be equal to at least 50%
  of the total project budget. If there are multiple R&D-performing SMEs\, 
 their combined total participant budget (minus subcontracting costs) must 
 equal at least 50% of the total project budget. In either case\, the 50% b
 udget threshold must be met by R&D-performing SME(s) located in Eurostars 
 Participating state(s) or Partner Country(ies). The project must be spread
  across different international partners. No single entity or country may 
 be responsible for more than 75% of the total project budget.\n \nHow: Pa
 rtners should first contact their National Project Coordinators and subseq
 uently\, register and complete the online application form using the Euros
 tars submission platform.\n \nSwiss partners: In Eurostars\, Switzerland 
 is represented by Innosuisse.\n\nFunding by type of organization:\n\n	SME\
 , University and Research organization: 50% of eligible costs\n	Large comp
