DESCRIPTION:Gebert Rüf Stiftung (GRS) was established in 1998 by entrepre
 neur Heinrich Gebert as a science and innovation foundation. Its objective
  is to promote «Switzerland as a top location for business and as a place
  to live». As a private funding agency guided by its mission statement «
 making science effective»\, it supports entrepreneurial projects\, which 
 are committed to achieving an impact.\n\nThe programme InnoBooster support
 s university-based\, high-potential business cases from the Venture Kick p
 rogramme with the aim of substantially accelerating their market entry. In
  particular\, it supports proposals where a R&D or design boost can speed 
 up the success of the deep tech business case.\n\nWho can apply: applicant
 s employed at Swiss universities or research institutions (ETH Domain\, ca
 ntonal university\, university of applied sciences)\n\nYour project MUST:\
 n\n	Already be in the Venture Kick process\n	Already be approved by a fund
 ing programme (BRIDGE PoC\, Innosuisse\, EPFL Innogrant or similar)\n	Root
 ed at Swiss universities or research institutions (ETH Domain\, cantonal u
 niversity\, university of applied sciences)\n	Be beneficial to society\n\n
 \nFunding & Duration: Max. CHF 150\,000 for up to 18 months\n\n\n	For: sal
 aries and materials costs directly related to the project.\n	Does NOT cove
 r: infrastructure or overheads.\n\n\nDeadline\n\n\n	Informal access: submi
 t a 1-2 page abstract to idee@grstiftung.ch well ahead of the deadline for
  proposals.\n	Proposal: 1 February\, 1 May\, 1 September and 1 December (e
 very year) at 23:59 \n	Interview: with GRS Board of Trustees (upon invita
 tion)\n\nThe selection process takes 3 months.\n\nApplication\n\n\n	Inform
 al Access: Submit a 1-2pp. abstract of your project\, incl. alternatives\,
  to idee@grstiftung.ch well ahead of the 1st stage deadlines (listed above
 ): GRS will assess your chances of receiving a grant and\, if favourable\,
  invite you to submit your proposal for the closest deadline.\n	Proposal:
