DESCRIPTION:The Swedish foundation Promobilia Stiftelsen was founded in 19
 65 by doctor Per Uddén (1925-2002) to raise money to build better wheelch
 airs (Permobil AB) than those available at the time for people with disabi
 lities\, thus improving their quality of life.  \n\nIt supports:\n\n	res
 earch and development of technical aids so that disabled persons could ben
 efit of a more active life. The foundation’s support aims also at ensuri
 ng that these products get into production and reach those in need.\n	rese
 arch to improve the understanding of reading and writing difficulties.\n	r
 esearch around diseases that could lead to severe motion problems.\n\nResu
 lts should be useful to a larger group and be disseminated through any for
 m of open publication.\n\nWho can apply: \n\n\n	Applicants at a recognized
  university or equivalent\, high school\, hospital or other\, anywhere in 
 the world.\n	Private persons and industrial projects are not eligible.\n\n
 \nFunding & Duration: \n\n\n	Between SEK 100’000 and 500’000 (about U
 SD 10’000 – 100’000) for up to 24 months.\n	Eligible costs: person
 nel\, equipment\, material\, other project-related costs\, including subco
 ntracting\, and 20% overheads.\n	Matching funds are encouraged.\n\n\nNext 
 deadline: 12 October 2020 \n\n\n	Sign and submit your application at least
  7 working days prior to the deadline to research@epfl.ch to request the i
 nstitutional signature of the application form (p.7).\n\n\n\n	Applications
  must be submitted by e-mail to ansokan@promobilia.se and by regular mail 
 (see instructions for applicants outside Sweden).\n	For non-independent PI
 s: the application form must be signed (p.7) also by the head of the unit.
