 ollaborative partner with Societies\, Councils\, and industry to develop n
 ew products and services in emerging topics.\nThe primary working objectiv
 e of the IEEE Future Directions Committee:\n\n	Incubates emerging technolo
 gies and new applications of current technologies\n	Identifies opportuniti
 es to engage the engineering community and the general public\n	Works with
  IEEE members and staff to focus on emerging technologies through technica
 l\, professional\, and educational activities\n	Serves as a catalyst for n
 ew conferences\, publications\, standards\, educational products\, forums\
 , white papers\, grants\, and projects to support new technologies\n\nThe 
 presentation will provide and overview of the on-going initiatives within 
 FDC\, such as Blockchain\, Digital Reality and Future Networks. \nIn addi
 tion the presentation will also provide an overview into the IEEE European
  Public Policy Committee on ICT.\nThe meeting is planned as such :\n17:30-
  17:40 : Meeting at Sushizen EPFL\n17:40 - 18:30 : Update on FDC\, and the
