DESCRIPTION:M. Hübner\, CRPP \n90% of the ITER budget is devoted to in k
 ind procurements. Switzerland being a EURATOM associated state\, the Swiss
  industry has access to all procurement packages allocated to the European
  Party. Naturally Swiss industry can also compete for procurement packages
  allocated to IO and other ITER Parties. But to the opposite to other fund
 ed European organizations -such as CERN or ESA- no systematic geographical
  return to the member states is foreseen. Only open business rules prevail
 .\n\nIn this seminar we give an overview of the Swiss industry fusion bran
 ch and their expertise. The awarded contract statistics and the geographic
 al repartition within Europe so far are shown. We put in perspective chanc
 es for Swiss companies to obtain ITER procurements until the final constru
 ction stage. A few strategies adopted for some specific company profiles a
 re depicted to illustrate the broad spectrum of possible cases. Finally a 
 projection of the total available expected contracts is made and argued ag
 ainst the overall contribution of the Swiss Confederation to the ITER prog
 ram.
