DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The Accelerating Medicine Partnership in Parkinson’s 
 disease (AMP PD)\, a component of the National Institute of Health (NIH) A
 MP program\, was established in January 2018 as a public-private partnersh
 ip managed by the Foundation for NIH (FNIH). The mission of AMP PD is to i
 dentify and validate prognostic\, progression and predictive biomarkers fo
 r Parkinson’s disease (PD).\n\nThe funding opportunity announcement (FOA
 ) invites applications that will apply computational approaches to the int
 egration and analysis of clinical\, genomic and transcriptomic data from t
 he AMP PD to advance the identification of algorithms\, biomarkers\, and d
 isease pathways related to the diagnosis\, prognosis and progression of Pa
 rkinson’s disease. Development of tools and workflows for data visualiza
 tion and integration across data modalities and their application to AMP P
 D data are also supported.\n\nFunding:        $300’000 (direct cos
 ts)\n\nDuration:      1 year\n\nEligibility: Non-domestic (non-U.S.) E
 ntities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply. Any individual(s) wi
 th the skills\, knowledge\, and resources necessary to carry out the propo
 sed research as the Program Director(s)/Principal Investigator(s) (PD(s)/P
 I(s)) is invited to work with his/her organization to develop an applicati
 on for support. This FOA does not require cost sharing. To fully integrate
  the clinical data with the omics data available through AMP PD\, it is re
 quired that the research team be composed of a clinician scientist with ex
 pertise in movement disorders\, as well as individual(s) with expertise in
  computational biology\, data analysis and cloud computing.\n\nHow to Appl
