DESCRIPTION:Ivan Kulakovskiy\, Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology a
nd Vavilov Institute of General Genetics of Moscow\nThis presentation will
start by introducing several software tools for sequence motif analysis d
eveloped by the autosome.ru team. Next\, it will be shown how the presente
d tools can be used for practical analysis of eukaryotic gene regulation.
In particular\, the construction of a systematic collection of motifs repr
esenting transcription factor binding sites will be discussed\, together w
ith the annotation of single-nucleotide variants in gene regulatory region
 s. Finally\, we shall have a sneak peek at an ongoing large-scale meta-ana
lysis of ChIP-Seq data to discover allele-specific transcription factor bi
 nding events.
