The joint c all focuses on research and development ranging from experimental proof of concept to technology demonstrated in relevant environment\, leading to i nnovative solutions\, which are considerably differentiated from comparabl e existing solutions in the market in terms of their functions\, parameter s or other features. They shall provide added economic\, societal or envir onmental values\, which have a significant market potential for Brasil and Switzerland. EMBRAPII and Innosuisse have opted for a two-stage evaluatio n process\, to align the submitted applications with the common targets\, synchronise the funding decision and allow for a fair chance of success.\n \nEMBRAPII and Innosuisse have opted for a two-stage evaluation process\, to align the submitted applications with the common targets\, synchronise the funding decision and allow for a fair chance of success.\n \n\n Submi ssion deadline for Pre-Proposals: May 20\, 2020 (extended from 20 April 20 20)\n Submission deadline for Proposals: September 18\, 2020 (extended fro m 17 August 2020)\n\n\nFunding\nSwitzerland: Innosuisse funding is approve d to Swiss project partners as follows:\n\n\n Swiss research partner and S wiss implementation partner share costs of the project 50:50\; Innosuisse may fund the share of the Swiss research partner\, i.e. up to 50% of eligi ble project costs\;\n The implementation partner has to cover at least 50% of the project costs from the total project work of the Swiss partners. T he implementation partner(s) must also provide a cash contribution to the research partner(s) in the amount of 10% of the requested Innosuisse fundi ng.\n Swiss implementation partners get a non-exclusive right to exploit t he project results in their specific business area.\n For approved project s\, Innosuisse experts can request reviews or intermediate reports on the project progress\, contents and time schedule where necessary.\n At the en d of the project\, a plan must be presented showing how the results will b e implemented.\n\n\nBrasil - EMBRAPII funding regulations\, Companies enga ge in EMBRAPII projects as follows:\n\n\n The company negotiates the proje ct directly with the EMBRAPII Unit\n Approval and direct hiring between th e company and EMBRAPII Unit\n The resources are available in the EMBRAPII Units\n Continuous flow: at any moment\, your company can carry out projec ts\, without waiting for a bid\n\n\nThe financing of a project follows the EMBRAPII funding model. According to this model\, EMBRAPII\nfinances up t o 1/3 of the Brazilian project costs arising at an EMBRAPII Unit. The Braz ilian business\npartner contributes at least 1/3 of the costs arising at a n EMBRAPII Unit in cash. The EMBRAPII Unit\nmay add in-kind contributions.
