DESCRIPTION:The Dan David Foundation is a charitable organization establis
 hed in the year 2000 by the entrepreneur and philanthropist Dan David. It 
 supports research\, academic excellence and breakthrough advancements in t
 he sciences and the humanities.\nThe Dan David Prize awards scholarships t
 o doctoral and post-doctoral researchers\, carrying out research in one 
 of the selected fields for the current year:\n\n	Cultural preservation 
 and revival\n	Gender equality\n	Artificial intelligence\n\nWho can apply: 
 \n\n\n	Registered doctoral and post-doctoral researchers who study at rec
 ognized universities throughout the world\, and whose research has been a
 pproved\, are eligible to apply.\n	Applicants who have received a scholars
 hip from the Dan David Prize may not apply again for their same area of re
 search. \n\nFunding: every year the foundation awards twenty scholarships
  of USD 15\,000 each for the current year.\nDeadline: 10 March 2020\nPleas
 e note that you will need:\n\n	Two separate letters of recommendation\, o
 n official letterhead and signed by recognized scholars in the field\, one
  of which must be the doctoral/postdoctoral supervisor.\n	Institutional su
