DESCRIPTION:EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute 
 of Innovation and Technology (EIT)\, part of Horizon 2020 framework. Since
  January 2019 it has been working to encourage positive changes in the way
  people move around cities. It aims to become the largest European initiat
 ive transforming urban mobility. Co-funding of up to € 400 million (2020
 -2026) from the EIT\, a body of the European Union\, will help make this h
 appen.\n\nIt gathers 85+ partners across Europe such as leading companies\
 , research and education institutions or cities. They all support outreach
  and cover the complete value chain from vehicle and traffic technologies 
 to urban planning\, data services\, energy\, retail\, financial services a
 nd engineering. EPFL is a core member of the association since the very fi
 rst day. Therefore EPFL researchers are fully eligible for EIT Urban Mobil
 ity calls and funding for selected project proposals.\n\nEIT Urban Mobilit
 y opened a call for proposal for its business plan 2021. This call describ
 es the focus of the call\, the evaluation process\, the rules and eligibil
 ity as well as timeline for the application process.\n\nThematic areas of 
 the Call for Proposals 2021 (some are more relevant to EPFL researchers):\
 n\n	Innovation\n	Academy\n	Business Creation\n	Regional Innovation Scheme 
 (RIS)\n	Factory\n	Citizen Engagement\n\nDeadline:\nDeadline for submission
  of proposal in any thematic area is 30 April 2020\, 23:59 (UTC+1/CET).\n\
