DESCRIPTION:The European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) provides a l
 imited number of fellowships to researchers to enable them to visit Center
 s for Clinical or Diagnostic Virology in Europe\, in order to learn specia
 l or new techniques that are of value for their future clinical or laborat
 ory work. The subject of the proposed training should relate to clinical o
 r diagnostic virology.\n\nWho can apply:\n\n	Applicants should have a basi
 c professional qualification in clinical or diagnostic virology.\n	Applica
 nts must currently be affiliated to a biomedical institution and should in
 tend to return to this institution after completing the traineeship.\n	The
  Head of the Host Laboratory/Department should be an ESCV member.\n\n\nFun
 ding & Duration:\n\n\n	EUR 5’000 for up to 12 months.\n	The money requir
 ed for the Training Fellowships is derived in part from the Society’s re
 serve funds. In part it is collected specially for that purpose from comme
 rcial sponsors.\n	Eligible costs: travel and expenses. Does NOT cover the 
 fellow’s salary nor bench fees (e.g. expenses for consumables).\n\n\nDea
 dline: 1 June and 1 December (every year)\nDecision: within 2 months.\nSta
 rt of the fellowship: within 18 months from the decision.\n\nFor further i
