DESCRIPTION:The Chemistry Travel Award covers the cost of participation at
  an international conference in the chemical sciences for PhD students. Th
 e award is sponsored by the Platform Chemistry of the SCNAT and the Swiss 
 Chemical Society (SCS).\n\nWho can apply: doctoral students from Swiss res
 earch institutions. The award can only be won once in a lifetime – winne
 rs of previous years are excluded.\n\nFunding & Duration: the award includ
 es a contribution of CHF 1000 towards the cost of an active participation 
 (poster or oral presentation) at an international conference of three days
  or more between 15 May 2020 and 14 May 2021 in any field of the chemical 
 sciences. Up to 45 awards will be distributed to selected doctoral student
 s from Swiss research institutions. Selection will be based primarily on s
 cientific accomplishments and on the submitted conference abstract. The aw
 ard money will be paid upon presentation of a confirmation of attendance f
 rom the conference.\n\nDeadline: 31 March 2020 (23:59)\nDecision: as soon
