DESCRIPTION:For more than fifty years\, UBS Culture Foundation has been en
 gaged in promoting cultural life and the arts\, the exchange between artis
 ts and wider society\, and advancing the diversity of cultural expression.
  In particular\, we support the creation\, dissemination and mediation of 
 contemporary art and culture in Switzerland.\n\nThe Foundation supports pr
 ojects in the following areas:\n\n	Visual Arts\n	Heritage Conservation & A
 rchaeology: UBS Culture Foundation supports the preservation\, research an
 d mediation of Cultural Property. In particular\, the Foundation is commit
 ted to the restoration of heritage sites and buildings of supraregional si
 gnificance\, as well as to archaeological research projects in Switzerland
 .\n	Film\n	Literature\n	Music\n	Humanities & Cultural Sciences: UBS Cultur
 e Foundation supports historical\, philosophical and transdisciplinary pro
 jects with a clear focus on Switzerland. In particular we support projects
  that make an innovative and sustainable contribution to the general under
 standing of scholarly and scientific knowledge\, to the benefit of social 
 advancement. In addition\, UBS Culture Foundation is prepared to support S
 wiss museums in the acquisition of objects of major cultural-historical su
 bstance and significance.\n	Priority projects\n\n\nWho can apply: Swiss pr
 ofessional artists\, individuals engaged in the field of culture and the h
 umanities\, and foreign professionals with permanent residence in Switzerl
 and as well as cultural projects of artists with a particular focus on Swi
 tzerland.\n\nFunding & Duration: no upper or lower limit.\n\nRolling call:
  Grant proposals are submitted and reviewed on a continuous basis. The Fou
 ndation Board meets twice a year (in spring and autumn) to decide on the g
 rant proposals that have successfully passed the evaluation process. These
  meetings are preceded by a processing time of about three months.\n\nFor
