DESCRIPTION:The funding call “Science Communication Cubed – Science of
  Science Communication Centers” gives (science) communication researcher
 s\, scholars of all disciplines\, non-academic partners\, different stakeh
 olders and multipliers from civil society the opportunity to collaborate o
 ver long periods of time and to develop and research new ideas on science 
 communication in virtual or real collaboration spaces. Projects should foc
 us on joint learning and developing new ideas via transdisciplinary and in
 ternational research cooperations\, as well as on the ability to connect r
 esearch results with societal developments. Furthermore\, the funded proje
 cts should contribute to academic and non-academic debates on science and 
 society.\n\nWho can apply:\n\n	Professors and post-doctoral researchers fr
 om all disciplines are eligible to apply.\n	Swiss-based applicants are eli
 gible for funding\, but the consortium must be led by an applicant based i
 n Germany.\n	Teams consisting at least of (scientific) communication resea
 rchers\, scholars of other specific disciplines and non-academic expert co
 mmunicators.\n\n\nFunding & Duration:\n\n\n	Funding is available for 5 yea
 rs to a maximum of EUR 4 million (total budget) in the first stage. In a s
 econd stage\, degressive funding for 3 years with up to EUR 2 million (tot
 al budget) will be granted after successful evaluation. The funding can be
  used in a flexible manner.\n	Eligible costs: Funding for personnel positi
 ons is available for (science) communication researchers as well as for sc
 holars and scientists from other disciplines. For scholars/scientists from
  other disciplines\, the position can only be financed up to a maximum of 
 50% FTE. The grant can cover research-related cost\, but does not cover ov
