DESCRIPTION:Established in Basel in 1989\, the Novartis Forschungstiftung 
 (Novartis Research Foundation) aims to develop and commercialize new produ
 cts that contribute to the progress of humanity through advances in scienc
 e and health. To encourage unconventional thinking and enhance the attract
 iveness of Switzerland as a centre for research\, in 2016 the Foundation l
 aunched FreeNovation: a programme aimed at encouraging unconventional\, ra
 dical projects related to biomedical research with the ultimate aim to pro
 vide healthcare solutions for patients.\n\nEvery year\, the foundation org
 anizes an event to present the supported projects.\n\nRegistration for the
  3rd FreeNovation Science Forum is now open.\n\nAt this event\, the laurea
 tes of the 2018 FreeNovation call will present the results obtained in the
 ir projects\, focusing on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: AI in Drug
  Discovery\; AI in Clinical Development and Medical Practice\; AI and the 
 Patient”.\n\nDate: Wednesday\, 9 December 2020 from 9:00 - 15:00\n\nVenu
