DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the Ovarian Cancer 
 Research Program (OCRP) Awards. The OCRP Early Career Investigator Award a
 ims to develop successful\, highly productive ovarian cancer researchers i
 n a collaborative research and career development environment. This award 
 mechanism enables the ECI (the investigator named as the Principal Investi
 gator [PI] on the application) to pursue an ovarian cancer project that ma
 y be basic\, translational\, and/or clinical research\, or a clinical tria
 l under the guidance of a Designated Mentor.  This award provides the ECI
  with funding\, networking and collaborative opportunities\, and research 
 experience necessary to develop and sustain a successful\, independent car
 eer at the forefront of ovarian cancer research.\n\nFunding:        
 max. $725’000\n\nDuration:      4 years\n\nEligibility: Applicants f
 rom international organizations or institutions are eligible to apply\, an
 d there are no citizenship restrictions. Early-Career Investigator applica
 nts must be within three (3) years of last postdoctoral research position 
 (Ph.D.) or clinical fellowship (M.D.)\, or equivalent as of the full appli
 cation submission deadline. The Designated Mentor must be an independent\,
  established ovarian cancer researcher and must have ovarian cancer resear
 ch funding (past and present). The Designated Mentor is not required to be
  at the same institution as the ECI.\n\nHow to Apply: Pre-applications are
  submitted through the eBRAP platform. They should contain contact informa
 tion\, a preproposal narrative\, and a list of collaborators and key perso
 nnel as suggested on the platform. Full applications (by invitation) will
