DESCRIPTION:The Professor Dr Max Cloëtta Foundation grants scholarships a
 t a renowned institution to younger medical scientists during or immediate
 ly after completing their specialist training.\n\nThe scholarship is to fi
 nance a training stay at first-class\, primarily foreign host institutes.\
 n\nThe focus is on gaining knowledge in fields which are given little spac
 e in medical studies (e. g. public health\, psychosomatic and psychosocial
  medicine\, ethics\, IT\, epidemiology\, pharmacogenetics\, forensic medic
 ine\, health communica-tion)\, or on deepening knowledge in special fields
  / techniques (e. g. specialised clinical techniques\, molec-ular-biochemi
 cal methods\, computational science). Pure research projects are not the a
 im of the programme.\n\nWho can apply: \n\n	medical scientists during or i
 mmediately after completing their specialist training.\n	if they possess a
  Swiss citizenship or Swiss permanent residence or residence permit\;\n	if
  they possess a Swiss citizenship or Swiss permanent residence or residenc
 e permit\;\n	if their mentor confirms that they intend to accompany the sc
 holarship holder during the scholarship period\;\n	if their Swiss home ins
 titution ensures re-entry.\n\n\nFunding and duration: The amount of the gr
 ant provided by ‘Clinical Medicine Plus’ is determined by the Professo
 r Dr Max Cloëtta Foundation as a contribution to travel expenses and cost
  of living during the stay at the host institute (3 to max. 12 months).\n\
 nDeadline: 31 May 2020\n\n\n	Please contact research@epfl.ch at least 7 wo
 rking days prior to the call deadline to obtain the mandatory institutiona
 l support letter.\n\nEarliest start of the fellowship: 1 December 2020. Re
 troactive support is excluded.\n\nFor further information\, please have a
