DESCRIPTION:The Regional Studies Association is a registered charity in th
 e UK that works with researchers and policymakers across all career stages
  and geographical regions in the field of regional studies and science.\n\
 nThis Small Grant Scheme on Pandemics\, Cities\, Regions & Industry aims t
 o support a discrete piece of regional studies and/or regional science res
 earch on the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on regions cities and in
 dustry. Six awards will be made subject to the quality of applications.\n\
 nThe grant seeks to promote and encourage research and dissemination activ
 ities\, both within and across trans-national borders. \n\nExamples of res
 earch projects could cover economic\, environmental\, social\, political\,
  cultural\, behavioural and technological change\, and address conceptual\
 , methodological\, empirical or policy impacts.\n\nTopics could address sp
 ecific countries\, regions or cities\, providing that wider implications f
 or global audiences are addressed.\n\nWho can apply: All applicants must b
 e based within an eligible higher education institution (HEI) and must be 
 a current individual (non-corporate) member of the Regional Studies Associ
 ation and remain a member throughout the duration of the grant and reporti
 ng period. Where possible\, teams of researchers should include an early c
 areer researcher.\n\nFunding & Duration: £4\,000 for up to 9 months.\n\nD
