DESCRIPTION:Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research was establ
 ished in Switzerland in 2010 to support ground-breaking cancer research th
 at has the potential to create immediate and meaningful impact\, directly 
 enabling treatment access to patients. Funding goes to truly innovative an
 d unique patient-centred research\, either early-stage clinical studies or
  translation research\, focused on prevention\, detection\, treatments and
  aftercare.\n\nThe Cancer Research Grants support Phase I to Phase III cli
 nical trials in the following focus areas:\n\n	Improved Patient Outcomes\n
 	Science of Prevention and Detection\n\n\nExceptional research outside of 
 these areas may also be considered.\nAll cancer types are considered.\n\nT
 he foundation does NOT support basic research nor phase IV trials.\n\nWho 
 can apply: young and established researchers at academic institutions anyw
 here in the world.\n\nFunding: no upper or lower limit\nDuration: usually 
 3-5 years.\nEligible costs:\n\n	portion of the PI’s and other key person
 nel’s salary related to the proposed project.\n	approved treatment- and 
 study-related patient-care costs (incl. extraordinary laboratory and imagi
 ng studies and supplies).\n	publication and data management costs.\n	equip
 ment and equipment maintenance (rarely funded\, only in justified cases).\
 n	Does NOT cover: conference\, outreach and overheads costs.\n\n\nRolling 
 call\nLetters of intent can be submitted all year round.\nFull application
 s (upon invitation).\nDecision: within 3-6 months in May\, August and Dece
 mber.\nStart of the project: within 6 months from decision. Patient impact
