DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The program offers unrestricted funds and AWS Promotio
 nal Credits to support research at academic institutions and non-profit or
 ganizations in areas that align with our mission to advance customer-obses
 sed science.\n\nThere are 5 Calls:\n\n	AI for Information Security : Advan
 cing cybersecurity with AI\n	Alexa Fairness in AI : Building AI for every
 one\n	AWS AI : Advancing frontiers of machine learning\n	AWS Automated Re
 asoning : Security assurance\, backed by mathematical proof\n	Robotics :
  Pursuing the future of robotics research\n\n\nFunding:\n\n\n	Unrestricted
  funds\, no more than $80\,000 USD on average\n	AWS Promotional Credits\, 
 no more than $20\,000 USD on average\n	Training resources\, including AWS 
 tutorials and hands-on sessions with Amazon scientists and engineers\n\n\n
 Duration: One year\n\nEligibility:\nThe Principal Investigator:\n\n	is not
  a paid employee of a government entity (other than an accredited academic
  institution)\;\n	is not under US export controls or sanctions\;\n	has not
  been a director\, officer\, employee\, intern or contractor of Amazon or 
 its affiliates within the 12 months preceding application to the ARA Progr
 am (“Ineligible Personnel”)\;\n	not a member of the immediate family o
 r household of Ineligible Personnel\;\n	has not participated in or had dec
 ision-making authority over any cloud infrastructure procurements involvin
 g AWS or its affiliates  \n\n\nHow to Apply:\n\n\n	Read the ARA Program R

 proposal template\, making sure to answer any additional questions as requ
 ested.\n	Submit your proposal through the online submission tool before th

 l credits is subject to “Terms and Conditions” and “AWS Customer Agr
 eement”\, therefore DAR must review all proposals requesting AWS credits
