DESCRIPTION:The ”la Caixa” Foundation launches the fourth edition of 
 the Call for biomedical and health research projects with the aim of ident
 ifying and giving support to the most promising initiatives of scientific 
 excellence with potential value and high social impact\, whether in basic\
 , clinical or translational research.\n\nProposals must be submitted in th
 e following thematic areas:\n\n	Neuroscience\n	Oncology\n	Cardiovascular a
 nd associated metabolic disease\n	Infectious diseases\n	Enabling technolog
 ies focused on the four previous thematic areas\n\n\nFunding & Duration: \
 n\n\n	Max. €1M for up to 3 years.\n	Globally\, the sum of the budget of 
 all the organizations not located in Spain or Portugal may receive a maxim
 um of 30% of the total project budget.\n\n\nWho can apply: \n\n\n	A consor
 tium (2-5 research organisations) led by researchers from non-profit resea
 rch organizations based in Spain or Portugal. The other applicants can be 
 based anywhere in the world.\n	The consortium may also include non-profit 
 civil society organizations (CSO)\, such as patients’ associations.\n	Es
 tablished companies may NOT form part of the cooperating organizations tha
 t carry out activities of the project.\n\n\nDeadline: 3 December\, 2020\,
