DESCRIPTION:EPFLglobaLeaders is a new doctoral fellowship programme fundin
 g early stage researchers to become leaders in the transition towards sust
 ainable societies. Forty-eight doctoral fellows will benefit from a multif
 aceted training programme\, including a secondment in the non-academic sec
 tor.\n\nEPFLglobaLeaders has received funding from the European Union’s 
 Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska
 -Curie grant agreement No 945363.\n\nWhat:  4-year doctoral fellowships. 
 The EPFLglobaLeaders fellowship consists of a monthly contribution to the 
 salary of the doctoral candidate of EUR 1’935.\n\nWhere: Research funded
  by the EPFLglobaLeaders programme must be conducted at the EPFL campuses 
 in Lausanne\, Geneva\, Neuchâtel\, Valais\, or Fribourg.\n\nEligibility:
            \nEPFLglobaLeaders is open to applicants of any natio
 nality provided they fulfill the following eligibility criteria:\n\n	Appli
 cants must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) before they sign their
  employment contract.\n	Applicants must be Early Stage Researchers (ESR): 
 by the time they sign their employment contract\, they must not have compl
 eted more than four years of full-time research\, and they must not have b
 een awarded a doctoral degree.\n	Applicants must fulfil the MSCA transnati
 onal mobility rules and must not have resided or carried out their main ac
 tivity (work\, studies\, etc.) in Switzerland for more than 12 months in t
 he 3 years immediately before the call deadline.\n\n\nWhen to start: at th
 e earliest on 1 July 2021 and at the latest on 1 January 2022 (for Call 1)
