DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The AACR-AstraZeneca Breast Cancer Research Fellowships
  represent a joint effort to encourage and support postdoctoral or clinica
 l research fellows to conduct breast cancer research and to establish a su
 ccessful career path in this field. The research proposed for funding may 
 be basic\, translational\, clinical\, or epidemiological in nature and mus
 t have direct applicability and relevance to breast cancer.\n\nFunding: US
 D $120’000\n\nDuration: 2 years\n\nEligibility: Applicants must have a d
 octoral degree (including PhD\, MD\, MD/PhD\, or equivalent) in a related 
 field and not currently be a candidate for a further doctoral degree. At t
 he start of the grant term on July 1\, 2021\, applicants must hold a mento
 red research position with the title of postdoctoral fellow\, clinical res
 earch fellow\, or the equivalent and must have completed their most recent
  doctoral degree or medical residency - whichever date is later - within t
 he past five years (i.e.\, degree cannot have been conferred before July 1
 \, 2016) and work under the auspices of a mentor at an academic\, medical\
 , or research institution anywhere in the world.\n\nApplicants should be A
 ACR members. Annual dues are not required for early-career researchers int
 erested in Associate membership. Nonmembers interested in this grant oppor
 tunity must submit a satisfactory application for AACR membership\, and be
  members in good standing\, by the Letter of Intent deadline. Nonmembers c
 an apply for membership using the Official Application for Membership subm
 itted to the AACR with the required documents or apply online.\n\nHow to A
 pply: AACR requires applicants to complete an online application using the
