DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The AACR Lung Cancer Research Fellowships encourage and
  support postdoctoral or clinical research fellows to conduct lung cancer 
 research and to establish a successful career path in this field. The rese
 arch proposed for funding may be basic\, translational\, clinical\, or epi
 demiological in nature and must have direct applicability and relevance to
  the impact of driver mutations on lung cancer development and progression
 .\n\nFunding:         USD $120’000\n\nDuration:        2 ye
 ars\n\nEligibility: Applicants must have a doctoral degree (including PhD\
 , MD\, MD/PhD\, or equivalent) in a related field. In addition\, at the st
 art of the grant term on July 1\, 2021\, applicants must: Hold a mentored 
 research position with the title of postdoctoral fellow\, clinical researc
 h fellow\, or the equivalent\, have completed their most recent doctoral d
 egree within the past five years\, and work under the auspices of a mentor
  at an academic\, medical\, or research institution anywhere in the world.
 \n\nApplicants should be AACR members. Annual dues are not required for ea
 rly-career researchers interested in Associate membership. Nonmembers inte
 rested in this grant opportunity must submit a satisfactory application fo
 r AACR membership\, and be members in good standing\, by the application d
 eadline. Nonmembers can apply for membership using the Official Applicatio
 n for Membership submitted to the AACR with the required documents or appl
 y online.\n\nHow to Apply: AACR requires applicants to complete an online
