DESCRIPTION:The goal of the REPIC platform (Renewable Energy\, Energy & Re
 source Efficiency\, Promotion in International Cooperation) is to strength
 en and coordinate Swiss federal activities (by SECO\, SDC\, FOEN\, SFOE) o
 n renewable energies\, energy and resource efficiency within developing an
 d transitioning countries.\n\nProjects must facilitate the transfer of Swi
 ss technology and know-how to meet local needs. The project must be in the
  field of renewable energies and/or energy efficiency and/or resource effi
 ciency (waste\, waste water and industrial processes).\n\nREPIC gives prio
 rity to the following renewable energy technologies: Small hydraulics\, So
 lar energy (thermal\, photovoltaic)\, Wind power\, Biomass and Geothermal.
 \n\nREPIC’s financial contributions are primarily intended as complement
 ary measures for the:\n\n	quality assurance of proposals\,\n	reduction of 
 project transaction costs in the international context\n	as seed funding f
 or larger projects.\n\n\nREPIC can support projects in the following categ
 ories:\n\n	Pre-projects focused on implementation\n	Pilot projects (techni
 cal and economic)\n	Infrastructure Projects\n	Measures in favor of trainin
 g and quality assurance\n	Establishment of market structures\n	Funding mod
 els\n	Events and activities related to information\n\n\nWho can apply:\n\n
 \n	The main applicant must be based at a Swiss Organisation (e.g. institut
 e\, business\, NGO).\n	The project must involve local partner(s) in develo
 ping or transition countries. Countries benefitting from the Swiss contrib
 ution to EU enlargement are excluded.\n\n\nFunding: max. 150’000.\n\n\n	
 REPIC covers up to 50% of the total budget. Both the main applicant and th
 e local partner(s) are expected to provide own contributions and/or other 
 third party funding.\n\n\nNext Deadlines: 23 March 2021 and 12 May 2021 (n
