 ss become increasingly important with each career step. For women\, the 
 “likability” requirement often represents an additional challenge. Hav
 e you ever experienced “games” being played withunspoken rules\, not k
 nowing how to act or play along? This workshop reveals and decodes unspoke
 n rules andbehaviour patterns\, guides you in identifying scheming\,traps 
 and tricks\, and shows you how to achieve greaterroom for manoeuvre and in
 creased assertiveness.\n \nObjectives\n\n	Power dynamics in hierarchical 
 organizations\n	Decoding verbal and non-verbal language\, symbols and gest
 ures in daily power games\n	How to make yourself seen and listened to in m
 eetings and further relevant settings\n	How to react to attacks and offens
 es\n\nParticipants\n\n\n	Will get to know the essential rules in power gam
 es and how to play along\n	Will be able to decide in any given power situa
 tion whether they want to participate in the game or not and thus gain mor

 \nThe REGARD programme is addressed to young female academics of the next 
 generation and for women professors of the universities of French-speaking
  Switzerland\, HES-SO and EPFL. The REGARD programme is organized by the g
 ender equality offices those institutions.  \nThe objective of the REGARD
  program is to develop skills and offer concrete tools for career manageme
 nt and supervision. These workshops also create spaces for discussion and 
 exchange of experiences among researchers. They also aim to increase aware
 ness of gender equality issues in academic careers.
