 r for success in an academic career\, and is nowadays even seen as an esse
 ntial requirement in many cases. Academic mobility can be defined in a var
 iety of ways\, both long and short-term in relation to distance and time. 
 Furthermore\, since the worldwide travel restrictions imposed due to Covid
 \, will academic mobility no longer be viewed as a physical necessity to s
 ucceed in academia? In this workshop we will discuss opportunities\, chall
 enges and impact of academic mobility. Participants will receive informati
 on and feedback on what factors to consider when contemplating their mobil
 ity. They will be encouraged to self-reflect in order to make grounded dec
 isions regarding their own situations and aspirations.\n \nThe participan
 ts will…\n\n	Understand opportunities\, challenges and impact of academi
 c mobility\n	Be more aware of creative solutions to balance professional a
 nd personal goals\n	Be signposted to practical information on how to find 
 a position abroad and how to prepare for an international move\n	Feel more
  confident and informed about making decisions relating to academic mobili
 ty.  \n\nApproach\nTheoretical input will alternate with individual\, pai

 r participants from the ETH domain amounts to 80 CHF for a one-day cours
 e and 150 CHF for a two-day course. Confirmed participants will receive 
 an invoice which has to be paid latest one week before the beginning of th
 e course.\nCancellation policy\nFor cancellations latest one week before t
 he start of the course and in case of illness or force majeure\, the parti
 cipants will be reimbursed.\nRegistration\nRegistration will open six wee
 ks before the course\, please use the online registration form on the web
