 urately perceiving how you and others feel\, using these feelings to assis
 t with the task at hand\, understanding how these feelings arose and how t
 hey will change\, and then managing to stay open to these feelings makes u
 s efficient in our interaction with others.\n\nEmotional Intelligence Theo
 ry describes four emotional key abilities:\n\n	Perceive emotions accuratel
 y\n	Use emotions to help you think\n	Understand emotions’ causes and cha
 nges\n	Manage emotions by including the data of emotions in our thinking\,
  decisions and actions\n\nIn this workshop you will learn to explore how t
 hese skills matter in interacting with each other and how they can potenti
 ally impact your teaching. At the end of this workshop\, you will be able 
 to give a definition of the emotional key abilities and identify which of 
 these strengths you would like to leverage and which could become developm
 ent opportunities for you.\n\nApproach\nIn this experiential workshop you 
 will be introduced to the key concepts and then explore experientially how
  each of the key abilities could be applied and translated into concrete s
 ituations at the work place.\nBased on your understanding and learning fro
 m the role plays you will be encouraged to define personal strategies on h
 ow to leverage and/or develop your own emotional skills.\n \n \nTarget a

 __________________\n\nCosts\nThe fee for participants from the ETH domain 
 amounts to 80 CHF for a one-day course and 150 CHF for a two-day cours
 e. Confirmed participants will receive an invoice which has to be paid lat
 est one week before the beginning of the course.\nCancellation policy\nFor
  cancellations latest one week before the start of the course and in case 
 of illness or force majeure\, the participants will be reimbursed.\nRegist
 ration\nRegistration will open six weeks before the course\, please use 
 the online registration form on the webpage. Participant number: 8-12. Cou
 rses will take place if the minimum number participants is reached.
