DESCRIPTION:Helena Kovacs\nAbout a year ago\, the pandemic brought a chang
 e to EPFL. Forced by the virus\, the campus closed its doors to teachers a
 nd students\, and education continued via online formats. In this session\
 , Helena Kovacs shares insights from a qualitative study on EPFL teachers
 ’ initial experiences of the lockdown and what it meant to abruptly move
  from onsite to online teaching. The analysis introduces perspectives of p
 edagogical innovation and touches upon social components of learning which
 \, during the lockdown\, have left an impact on the meaning of professiona
